Obituary of Barbara Kolenda

Beloved wife to Vincent, loving mother to two sons; Mark and Ronald and grandmother to her four grandchildren: Kayla, Jessica, Kristopher, and Ronnie. She passed at the young age of 81 years old. Barbara lived with her son Mark for a year in Rahway NJ after the passing of her husband Vincent. She peacefully passed away of natural causes surrounded by her family and loved ones. Barbara was born on January 20, 1942, in Jersey City, New Jersey. She graduated from high school. Married to Vincent for 60 years. She worked at Elizabeth Board of Education for over 20 years. She worked as a secretary but loved helping the kids at her job. At a very young age she lost her parents and was raised by her Aunt Connie and Uncle Ray Abate. She was a part of the red hats club in her community. She was a devoted wife, wonderful mom, and loving grandmother. She was always supportive. Barbara enjoyed singing to Italian music and dancing. She loved to travel and cook. She was very religious. She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children. She was very loving and caring. Barbara loved to crochet in her spare time. You will be forever missed and forever loved. Always in our hearts. Rest in peace! Until we meet again.
