Lomelina Ferreira de Almeida Reguinho, 86, died on Saturday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway. Relatives & Friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral on Wednesday, August 24 from the August f. Schmidt Memorial Funeral Home, 139 Westfield Ave., Elizabeth at 8:15 AM. Funeral Mass at Our lady of Fatima RC Church Elizabeth at 9:00 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Newark. Visiting Tuesday 4-8 PM.
Lomelina was born in Luso, Angola & came to this country in 1977 settling in Elizabeth. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elizabeth & a member of Grupo de Oracao de Mt. Sinai & the Rosary Society and a Lector all at the Church. She was a retired Portuguese school teacher from Escola Amadeu Correia at the Elizabeth PISC.
She is predeceased by her husband Joaquim Rodrigues Reguinho. A son Joao Carlos de Almeida Reguinho, a daughter Filomena Maria de Almeida Reguinho, her parents Joaquim & Alice de Almeida & her sister Ruth Fernandes. Lomelina is survived by a son Rui Jorge de Almeida Reguinho & his wife Jenny Costa Reguinho. A Sister, Isabel Clemente of Portugal. Grandmother of Daniel Costa Reguinho, Phillip Costa Reguinho, Lucas Costa Reguinho, Andre Reguinho, Jonathan Paul Reguinho Oliveira, Stephanie Marie Lord, David Dos Santos & Sofia Reguinho. Great Grandmother of Amelia Antunes Reguinho, Luna Antunes Reguinho, Evelyn Rose Oliveira & Henry Oliveira Lord.
