Maria da Luz Contente Cascao, 86, born on May 18, 1936 in Chao da Parada, Portugal. She came to this country in 1969 and settled in Elizabeth. she was a Communicant of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elizabeth.
Maria is predeceased by her husband Joao Julio Cascao who died in 1995. She is survived by a daughter, Solange Maria Vila & her husband Paulo of Elizabeth, a son Edgar Cascao & his wife Carmen of Clark, a brother Abilio Contente & his wife Gisela of Linden. Grandmother of Julie M. Sforza, Diana M. Pohida, James Cascao & Steven Vila. Great Grandmother of Louis, Carmen, Julian, Paige, Glenn & Maxwell.
