Helena De Jesus Ferreira, age 101, born on December 31, 1920 in Figueiro da Serra, Portugal. She came to this country from Portugal in 1956 settling in Elizabeth. She was employed as a seamstress- Finisher- for Lafayette Sports Wear, Elizabeth for over 21 years before retiring at age 62. A communicant of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elizabeth.
Helena is predeceased by her husband Anibal Ferreira who died in 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Victoria Senglar and her husband Robert of Elizabeth. A son Joseph Ferreira and his wife Andrea of Branchburg. Grandmother of David Ferreira, Joseph J Ferreira and Stephen Senglar. Great Grandmother of three.
