Mario Fernando Santos Carreira,60, born on July 24, 1961 in Sao Mamede, Portugal. Came to this country in 1984 settling in Linden, NJ. He was an auto mechanic in Union County for many years before retiring. A member of the Portuguese Instructive Social club of Elizabeth.
He is survived by his wife Maria Goreti Mendes Veira Carreira. 2 Sons, Brian Carreira & his wife Alejandra of Metuchen & Jason Carreira of Linden. A daughter, Marina Karpa & her husband Peter of Scotch Plains. His mother, Esmeralda Santos of Portugal. 3 Grandchildren, Arielle Karpa, Cristiano Carreira & Isabella Carreira. 2 sisters who live in Portugal.
