Obituary of Christian Manuel Pinto

In Loving Memory of Christian Manuel Pinto Beloved Son of Isabel Pinto and Manuel J. Pinto Maternal Grandson of Victor Pinto and Maria De Lourdes Pinto Paternal Grandson of Manuel Pinto and Aida Pinto Nephew of Manuel A. Pinto, Diane Pinto, and Monica Pinto Cousin of Sabrina, Adam, and Nouri Godson of Sandra Mercorelli and Manuel A. Pinto Christian, 16, of Elizabeth, NJ, earned his angel wings peacefully on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 surrounded by the love of his family and friends at the Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown, NJ. He was born in Summit, NJ and raised in Elizabeth, NJ. Christian was a junior at Elizabeth High School and he was a communicant at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Elizabeth, NJ. He is survived by his parents, grandparents, family and friends across New Jersey, Rhode Island, Florida, Portugal, and France. Christian battled Ewing Sarcoma for three years at the Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown, NJ and at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC, where he made amazing connections with the doctors and nurses who fought hard with him. He adored his doctors, nurses, and social workers who were by his side during these tough times. During those three years, Christian fought very hard for his life and never lost faith. He always had a big smile on his face. Christian loved listening to music, watching Law & Order and wrestling, playing video games, and watching movies. Gather with us as we share beautiful memories and pay tribute to a kind and gentle soul who will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
