Obituary of George Manuel Loureiro

George Manuel Barreto Loureiro, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at home surrounded by family.  He was born in Espinho, Mangualde ,Portugal.  He resided in Elizabeth N.J., until moving to Palm Coast Florida.   George worked in the airline industry for 40 years.  He worked for Piedmont Airlines, US Airways, and American Airlines before retiring with over 40 years of service. He enjoyed his time working for the airlines, always spoke very highly of all the people he worked with and loved admiring all the different types of aircraft.  He always enjoyed a good time with friends and family, along with great food and wine.  George enjoyed great music, singing, time spent at the beach and by the pool. Beloved husband to Lourdes Loureiro; son of late Lúcio dos Santos Loureiro and Maria das Dores Barreto. Devoted and loving father to his son George F. Loureiro and his wife Anita; daughter Suzana Vazquez and her husband Gilberto “Tito” Vazquez;  dear brother of Lucia Strunk; admired grandfather to his three grandchildren. George will be laid at his final resting place in Anadia, Portugal.  In lieu of flowers the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in George's name.
