Maria O Goncalves,79, of Hillside, died on Saturday at Overlook Hospital, Summit. Friends & Family are kindly invite to attend the funeral on Thursday, March 3, from the August F. Schmidt Memorial Funeral Home,139 Westfield Ave., Elizabeth at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elizabeth at 9:00 AM. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9- PM. Maria was born in Madeira, Portugal & came to this country many years ago settling in Hillside. She was Employed as an Warehouse worker for Daffy's in Secaucus for many years retiring years ago. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima RC church, Elizabeth. She is predeceased by her husband who died in 1969. She is survived by a son Nicolau Pinto & his wife Elsa of Elizabeth, 4 daughters Delilha Pinto Sa & her husband Jose of Hillside, Liliana Jesus & her husband Henrique of Hillside, Zita Pinto of Elizabeth & Josie Pinto of London, also survived by 10 Grandchildren & 5 Great-grandchildren.
