Obituary of Vincent John Kolenda

Beloved husband to Barbara of 60 years, loving father to his two boys; Mark and Ronald, and grandfather to his four grandchildren; Jesica, Kayla, Ronald, and Kristopher. He passed away at the age of 89 years old. He suffered from lung cancer for 4 months. Vincent loved being around his family. Golf and tennis were his favorite sports. He enjoyed listening to polish music and playing the ukulele also, harmonica. Vincent worked at Budweiser for 30 years. Also, worked for the city of Elizabeth for 10 years. Vince graduated from Penn State and was an alumni for most of his life. Penn state was very special to him because he put himself through college by working multiple jobs. He was raised by a loving and humble family near the coal mines of Nanticoke. Vince in a few words. He was a wonderful man, a wonderful husband, and wonderful father, Vince always knew how to make people laugh. He could brighten up anyone's day with just his warm smile. Just a good hearted person. Vince was very intelligent because he loved to read and challenge his mind with games such as; jeopardy, and sudoku.This man always worried about everyone's needs and problems before his own. This man is the definition of what it is to be as a father, husband, grandfather and friend. Thank you for all the amazing memories we get to have and hold. You will be forever missed and forever loved. Always in our hearts. Rest in Peace! Until we meet again! In lieu of flowers, contribution to St. Jude Children Research Hospital would be appreciated.
