Obituary of Jose Osvaldo Rodrigues

Jose Osvaldo Rodrigues, 80, of Linden, died on Saturday January 29, at Overlook Hospital, Summit. Relatives & Friend are kindly invited to attend the Funeral on Wednesday February 2, from August F. Schmidt Memorial Funeral Home, 139 Westfield Ave., at 8:15 AM. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elizabeth at 9:00 AM. Visiting Tuesday 4 – 7 PM. Jose was born in Ovar, Portugal came to this country in 1983 settling in Linden. He was employed as a Auto Technician for Koplin Volvo in Union for many years retiring in 2003. He was a member of the Filantropica Ovarense & member of the Portuguese Instructive Social Club both from Elizabeth. He was a Communicant of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elizabeth. He is Survived by his wife of 53 years Lucia Campos Pinho Rodrigues. 2 Daughters Dina Faria & her husband Jorge of Avenel & Isabel Ferreira & her husband Luis of Elizabeth, 1 Sister Guihermina Pinho of Portugal. Grandfather of Sarah Faria, Andrew Faria, Lani Ferreira & Lucas Ferreira. In lieu of flowers donations to Pulmonary Fibrosis would be appreciated.
