Carlos M. Caneira, 61, of Elizabeth died on Tuesday at his home. Relatives & Friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, November 13 from the August F. Schmidt Memorial Funeral Home, 139 Westfield Ave., Elizabeth at 8:15 AM.. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elizabeth at 9:00 AM. Interment St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
Visiting Friday 4-8PM.
Carlos was born in Figueira Da Foz, Portugal & came to this country in 1968 settling in Elizabeth. He was employed as a construction worker for WD Synder Construction Company, Union County for many years. He was a member of the Portuguese Instructive Social club & a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church & Knights of Columbus Council #11798 all of Elizabeth.
Carlos is survived by his wife Natalia M. Ribeiro Caneira. A daughter Michelle R. Caneira of Elizabeth. Also his mother Ernestina P. Marques Caneira of Portugal.
