David Caccavella Sr.,96, of Barnegat, died on Monday at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Stafford Township, NJ. David was born in Newark & moved to Barnegat 32 years ago. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor for 15 years at Demarest School, Bloomfield before retiring 1987.Prior he was employed as a baker for Jane Parker (A& P in NJ.) He was an Army Veteran. David is survived by his wife of 70 years, Angelina Volpe Caccavella. 4 sons, David Caccavella & his wife Dianne of California, Stephen Caccavella & his wife Cathleen of Toms River, Kevin Caccavella & his wife Joanne of Clifton & Richard Caccavella & his wife . Elizabeth of Hawthorne, NJ. David is the grandfather of Christopher Caccavella & his wife Shannon, Niccole Caccavella-Soto & her husband Luis, Kevin Caccavella Jr. & his wife Niesha, Dawn Caccavella Wojck & her husband Matt, Amanda C. Ponzo & her husband Joe, Kelly Lynne Caccavella, Michael Caccavella & his wife Rebecca & David Caccavella & Shannon. Also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren, & survived by 20 nieces & nephews & 23 Great nieces & Nephews. He is predeceased by the late Dominick, Millie, Anthony & James (siblings) (siblings).
