Jose Guilherme Farelo Vira, 83, of Hillside, died on Wednesday at his Daughter's home in Galloway, NJ. Friends & Family are invited to attend a Eulogy service at 7:00 PM on Sunday, February 28 from the August F. Schmidt Memorial Funeral Home, 139 Westfield Ave., Elizabeth. Interment Monday, March 1 at 1:00 PM at Leeds Point Church Cemetery, Galloway. Visiting Sunday 4-8 PM.
Jose was born in Setubal, Portugal moved to South Africa then came to this country in 1977 settling in Hillside 30 years ago. He was employed as a machine operator for Engelhardt Industries, Carteret before retiring many years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa De Jesus Da Graca Coelho Vira.
A Daughter Teresa Brito/ Petrosky & her husband Ronald of Galloway. 2 Sisters, Teresa Vira Boss & Clotilde Da Conceicao Vira Monteiro both of Portugal. A Grandson, Tyler Brito & his wife Heena Sondhi Brito of Galloway.
