Lillian Cabarle Obituary On Ash Wednesday, February 17, 2021, we said our final goodbyes to our Mom, Grand Mom and Great Grand Mom, Lillian May Cabarle (Weil). Her passing was as quiet and as peaceful as the winter day was. Lillian was married to Ralph Vincent Cabarle on December 5, 1953 and they were happy together until his passing in November of 1996. Before being married to “Pop” and raising her family, she worked for The Prudential Insurance Co. The two of them bought their forever home in Cranford, NJ in December of 1957 and Mom lived there until her move to Mrs. Bush’s Personal Care Home in Kunkeltown, PA in September of 2017. Lillian was a member of The First Presbyterian Church in Cranford, Nj for many years. She served as a Sunday School Teacher, a Deacon and an Elder. She dedicated her life to her family by being a devoted Mom. She loved the outdoors and took her family camping, fishing, on treasure walks or even just out to play in the dirt. She was a Girl Scout and Boy Scout Leader. For a period of time, one of her sons and two of her grandchildren lived upstairs from her. She helped raise them by taking them to gymnastics, dance school, Brownies and attending Parent Teacher Conferences. She enthusiastically participated in all of her grandchildren’s activities, loving each of them equally. She was fortunate to meet three great grandchildren and to also know that another one is on their way! She is survived by her three children Alison Sizemore (Cabarle) and her Husband Jim Sizemore, Craig Cabarle and Bruce Cabarle and his wife Lucy Cabarle-Cruz. Her 6 Grand Children Heather Sizemore, Christine Cabarle , Jill Cabarle, Lindsay Carsillo, Slade Sizemore and Silas Cabarle. Her 3 Great Grandchildren Ascher Cabarle, Valor Cabarle-Ramos, Liam Cabarle and another on their way. Lillian is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She is predeceased by her Mother Elizabeth Weil (MacGregor), her father Ernest Weil, Twin Sister Ernestine Fedele (Weil), Sister Nancy Weil and Brother Robert Weil. We will miss her love, support, attention and gentle nature very, very much. If ever you are on a walk, which is something she loved to do, be sure to keep your eyes open. You just might look down and spy something special or unique…a “treasure”. Please think of it as her leaving you a little surprise. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at August F. Schmidt Memorial Funeral Home in Elizabeth, NJ. Lillian will be laid to rest next to her loving husband at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Luke’s Hospice Care. Thank you.
