Richard D. Waln Jr., age 49, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021, in his home in Elizabeth. He was born on April 18, 1971, to the late Susan Quinn Waln and late Richard D. Waln Sr.
Richard attended St. Patrick's High School in Elizabeth before pursuing a career in IT and construction.
Richard is survived by his two sons, Anthony and Ethan, and daughter Alexa. Also survived by his sister Lori DaCosta and grandmother Dolores Quinn. He will forever be missed by his many, many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins all of whom grew up as brothers and sisters.
Predeceased by his late grandfather Michael Quinn.
Visitation and service will be held at August F. Schmidt Memorial Funeral Home, 139 Westfield Ave, Elizabeth on Sunday, February 21, 2021, between hours of 1PM and 3PM.
