Alfredo De Oliveira, 79, of Perth Amboy, died on Monday at Kindred Care, RWJ @ Rahway. Friends & Family are kindly invited to attend the Funeral on Saturday, February 6, from the August F. Schmidt Memorial Funeral Home, 139 Westfield Ave., Elizabeth at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elizabeth at 9:00 AM. Entombment St. Gertrude Cemetery. Visiting Friday 5-8 PM.
Alfredo was born in Viseu, Portugal & came to this country in 1963 settling in Perth Amboy. He was employed as an Iron Worker for US Metals Carteret for many years retiring in 1982. Later he was a realtor for Al Correia Agency, Union & Elizabeth for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Portuguese Lions Club & Portuguese Instructive Social Club both of Elizabeth. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elizabeth.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Conceicao Rodrigues De Oliveira. A son Victor De Oliveira & his fiancée Elaine Olivo of Carteret. A Daughter Cynthia De Oliveira Rodrigues & her husband Rui of Port St. Lucie, Florida. 3 Brothers Jorge De Oliveira, Jose Luis De Oliveira & Jose De Oliveira all of Portugal. 4 Sisters, Elena Pereira Oliveira, Nazare De Oliveira, Teresa Oliveira & Alice De Oliveira all in Portugal.. Grandfather of Nicholas & Dylan Rodrigues.
