Albino D. Santos, 90, of Linden died on Saturday at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Elizabeth. Relatives & Friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, September 30 from the August F.
Schmidt Memorial Funeral Home, 139 Westfield Ave, Elizabeth at
8:15 AM. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elizabeth at 9:00 AM. Entombment Memorial Park, Linden. Lieu of Masses contributions to Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, 403 Spring St., Elizabeth, NJ 07201 would be appreciated.
Visiting Tuesday 4-9 PM.
Albino was born in Prados, Celerico da Beira, Portugal, then moved to Angola & then came to this country & Elizabeth in 1965, then moved to Linden in 1979. He was employed as a foreman for Amax-Cooper Inc.
(formerly US Metals Corp)Carteret for many years before retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Portuguese Instructive Social Club & a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church both of Elizabeth.
He is predeceased by his brother, Armenio Santos. He is survived by his wife of 57 years,Vitalina Nascimento Pina De Carvalho Santos
2 Daughters, Elizabeth dos Reis & her husband Luis of Tewksbury &
Carma Martins & her husband Michael Nyman of Whitehouse Station.
2 Sisters, Maria Assuncao Ferreira & Maria do Ceu Rodrigues both of Portugal. 3 Grandchildren, Eric Dos Reis and his wife Erin, Matthew Martins & Andrew Dos Reis. 1 Great Grandchild, Mila Rose Dos Reis.
