Schmidt Funeral Home, 139 Westfield Ave., Elizabeth. Delfim was born in Lugar Gondufe, Sao Joao de Var, Sta. Maria, Feira, Portugal. He was employed as a Machine Operator for Union Local 14 B in New Your City for many years before retiring. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elizabeth. He is predeceased by his wife Maria Amelia Oliveira Pinho who died in 2016. He is survived by 2 daughters, Marisa Gomes & her husband Carlos of Kenilworth & Lauren Gouveia & her husband Leonel of Elizabeth. A brother, Elizio Soares De Pinho of Newark. 3 sisters, Maria Adelina Soares De Pinho, Eleuteria De Pinho & Maria Das Neves Soares De Pinho all of Portugal. Grandfather of Liam Petiz Gouveia, Laila Petiz Gouveia & Sofia Nicole Gomes.
