Maria Dos Santos Lopes, (Neves), 92, of Elizabeth, died on Monday at her home in Elizabeth. Relatives & Friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral Thursday, January 30 from the August F. Schmidt Memorial Funeral Home, 139 Westfield Ave., Elizabeth at 8:15 AM. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, 403 Spring Street, Elizabeth at 9 AM. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory to American Cancer Society & Masses at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elizabeth. Visiting Wednesday 5-8 PM. Maria was born in Vila Boa do Mondego, Portugal & came to this country & settled in Elizabeth many years ago. She was employed as a processor for Singer Company, Elizabeth before retiring many years ago. He was a member of the Portuguese Instructive Social Club, Elizabeth & a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elizabeth. She is predeceased by her husbands Tomas Cardoso & Jose Augusto Lopes. Maria is survived by her nieces, Celeste Azevedo & her husband Antonio Carlos & Lourdes Branco & A nephew Agostinho Azevedo & his wife Roseanne .
