Josephine V. (Viskaski) Speziale, 97, of Voorhees died on Tuesday, July 18 at Brandywine Senior Living at Voorhees. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral at the August F. Schmidt Memorial Funeral Home at 139 Westfield Avenue, Elizabeth on Saturday, July 22 at 9:00 a.m. The funeral mass will be held at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in Linden at 10:30 a.m. with the internment to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery.
The visitation is Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
Josephine was born in Lowell, Massachusetts then moved to Elizabeth where she graduated from Battin High School. She was employed as a Comptometer Operator for American Type Founders for many years before retiring. She and her husband, Anthony Speziale, lived in Somerset for 25 years. She then lived in Roselle before moving to Voorhees several years ago. Josephine was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Hungary RC Church in Linden.
She is predeceased by her husband Anthony Speziale, sisters Mary Viskaski and Michalina DeFino, brothers John Conroy and Alphonse Viskaski, and cousin Ruth Agostino. She is survived by her nephew Frank DeAngelis of Voorhees, her two nieces, Alexandra Eckert of Houston, TX and Michaelyn Viskaski of Highland Park, NJ, and numerous great-nieces and nephews, and great-grandnieces and grandnephews.
